It is designed for lower volume single sided discharge fans and for wall mount situations. It has also proven to be effective in unique applications that other systems will not adapt to.

Omni Containment Systems’ new line of exhaust fan hinging systems, The Super Hinge™, is changing the way exhaust fans are being hinged for cleaning and maintenance ease and convenience.

The Omni Super Hinge is designed for versatility and durability and helps to increase the life of the fan housing by adding support to failure areas of the fan base caused by thin aluminum construction. Heavy gauge powder coated steel components prevent flexing or bending, and eliminate the repetitive flexing stress that occurs during use. Corrosion proof hardware is provided to ensure that the Super Hinge stays firmly attached to the fan and duct.

N.F.P.A 96 Code 8.1.1.1states: “Approved Up-blast Fans with motors surrounded by the air stream shall be hinged, supplied with flexible weather proof electrical cable and service hold-open retainers, and listed for this use.”
